A sense of Touch Therapy Treatments
At Finding Me – Living Well Despite Cancer we use Complementary Therapies in addition to standard cancer treatment and after treatment.
Touch is vital
This approach is called integrative medicine, and many people use complementary therapies to:
- Reduce the side effects of cancer treatment
- Improve physical and emotional well-being
- Relax and cope with stress
- Relieve pain, fatigue, anxiety, and depression
- Improve recovery from cancer treatments and beyond

Types of complementary therapies include:
- Aromatherapy touch therapy
- Reflexology
- Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology
- Jennifer Young Sleep Ritual
- Ziggie Bergman Facial Reflexology and ZFL
- Reiki
- Gentle Indian Head Massage
- Make up classes
Talk with your health care team before adding any therapies to your standard treatment. They can help you safely combine the therapies that are right for you.
